My One Hour Adventure

Today was the day we set our clocks back one hour. When I got up this morning I thought that I would not set my clocks back until I had decided what I would do with my One Extra Hour. At 12:00 noon I had planned my one hour all out. I got dressed in jeans, socks, hiking tennis shoes, grabbed my camera, hat and bottle of water and set out for my one hour adventure. First I walked up to the 3rd floor and surveyed my adventure......The Forests of Toscana. Just beyond the safety of my gated community and the puppy park was unexplored territory.

The Forests of Toscana are thick and scary. With camera in my hand, I was ready for the wild animals, birds, lizards, snakes whatever came my way.

Found a Christmas Tree in the middle of the Forest.

In the middle of my adventure I heard something up in the sky, I looked up and got this shot of a bird. I want to think its an eagle but I'm sure it isn't. I'm guessing it is a Hawk. Doesn't it look beautiful in flight. I just want to note here I didn't use my zoom on this shot, the bird was this close to me in flight. I think he was saying WELCOME to my HOME, AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING. One Hour I did not waste today.

sounds like a very fun adventure- but I think the Hawk was circling you and wanted to eat Buddy

I left Buddy at Home because I didn't know what I would find. The weeds were up to my knees. Buddy would have been covered completely.

Wow Penny, those are actually amazing shots of that bird! I'm not sure what I officially spent my 1 hour on.... I think I will dedicate it to being a good samaritan. I pulled over as a witness of a car accident, and waited around for the police to show up. Yah that's it... that was my 1 hour.
