OK so what was a pretty boring week at work and at home ended with an interesting event in Court Today. We have some funny things happen and today was one of those days. Judge is listening to a case at the bench and we hear this creepy sound like snip...snip...crack...crack. Judge asks the people in Court who is making that noise and no one fesses up. So he goes on with hearing the case and again snip...snip...crack...crack. He notices some citizens in the gallery looking at this man. So he stops the case and addresses the man to approach the bench. When asked what he is doing he says TRIMMING HIS NAILS. YUK!!! Judge asks "What are you doing with the cut nails and the man just stares at Judge like a DEER in HEADLIGHTS. Then judge says "ARE YOUR NAILS ON MY FLOOR?" Man says "YES" OMG...Judge has the BAILIFF take this man into Custody, HANDCUFF him and take his ASS out of the Court. After the case he was hearing is over Judge requests the man be returned to Court. Still in Handcuffs he is standing there and Judge is just looking at him. We are all staring at the man. OK, I'm thinking what is going to happen. Judge finally breaks the stare down and says "You are in Contempt of my Court and I FINE you $100.00 plus Court Cost of $67.00." Asks the man if he has $167.00 man says "YES." OK..PAY THE CLERK. OMG Cost of his manicure $167.00. It gets better. Man was in court for an Eviction Case. I asked Judge what was with the stare down. He says I was waiting for an apology. Dumb Man... SOooooooo after Court I say "NO HOME TO LIVE IN BUT DAMN HIS NAILS LOOKED GOOD." Fun end to a boring week.
