If there is one day out of the year that you know your Single, it's TODAY so I renamed Valentine's Day as you can see above. Wear Red and/or Pink and put your hands up in the AIR and say.........in the words of Beyonce's Song....ALL THE SINGLE LADIES........"IF YOU LIKED THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT A RING ON IT. IF YOU LIKED YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT A RING ON IT."
This will be FUN....THINK BACK....WAY BACK....Can you name FIRST and LAST name of your FIRST CRUSH? I'll bet you can. Mine was in 3rd Grade....his name was Steven Smith. He sat behind me in class and would always tap me on the shoulder with his pencil and pretend it wasn't him. I would say, "STOP THAT!" in my cutest little girl voice. Secretly I missed him when he was out sick. Our relationship moved to the next level when he wore his CUB SCOUT uniform to school one day. I was in LOVE. I begged my grandmother to let me wear my BROWNIE uniform (GIRL SCOUT) in hopes to catch his eye. Well, I wore it and you guessed it, NO REACTION. I'm not sure what reaction I thought he would have that day I sat there in class with my Brownie Suit on looking all cute. Our tap on the shoulder....Cub Scout wearing .....Brownie Scout wearing RELATIONSHIP ended at the conclusion of 3rd Grade. I would see him off and on through the rest of elementary school and hoped he would talk to me but I guess I loved him more than he loved me. hehhehe Thinking back he wasn't flirting by tapping me on the shoulder he was being an obnoxious annoying little BRAT. That was 40 something years ago and I still think about this silly 3rd grade CRUSH.
WHO WAS YOUR FIRST CRUSH?

Hmmmm- well... I can think all the way back to Kindergarten-- It was "Shad Johnson"-- His haircut looked like someone put a cereal bowl on his head and trimmed around it-- And BOY could he RUN FAST... Everyday on the playground at the same Methodist Church that I work at NOW--- HE would chase me! And he would chase and try to KISS me!
It was fun even though I would scream in disgust when he caught me! LOL
I've had a few other secret elementary school crushes but I'm afraid to reveal them as they are now on Facebook with Andrea and Krista and I just know they would embarrass me! LOL
Ryan in kindergarden!!! loved him!!!!!
LOL! Mom..seriously. You crack me up. I never knew about the Brownie outfit?! I bet Nannie thought it was adorable that you wanted to wear that. SO FUN. HE would SWOON OVER YOUR AWESOME LITTLE HOT BOD in your VERY COOL CLOTHES NOW! LOL..Hugs, A
oh. p.s. Michael Eckert!!
oh yea and by the way LOVE that song. because right now im the only one in my youth group who is a dater hater!!!!!
ALL MY SINGLE LADIES PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!!!
I was in kindergarten, and was in love with a first-grader named Jessie. He was the cafeteria monitor one day, and made me go back to the table and finish my milk. I was heartbroken....
I loved your post- SO CREATIVE!!!
I soo remember Andrea's crush on Michael Eckert - and boy, he was sooo cute! Mine was Mike Caraway - he lived in Highland Village - moved away. I'll bet he is still cute. I would say mike is followed closely by Chad Barfneck (I don't remember how to spell his name). Anyway, Andrea got to be his girlfirend in 9th grade and I remember I was so JEALOUS because I always wanted to be his girlfriend! Thank goodness it was short lived - be we just moved on to other jerks in HS!!
Mine was my first grade teacher...yep I liked em older!
He was beautiful and tall and I can't remeber anything else about him, other than my mom laughed at me because she figured it out. After someone knew about it, it didn't seem as much fun, but I still thought that he was hot!
